Ride of Silence - Third Wednesday in May
WEDNESDAY, May 15, 2024 - Registration is Open!
With this annual ride—a short, slow and silent processional —hundreds of Central Ohio cyclists join an international movement to honor cyclists killed or injured while riding on public roadways and raise awareness that cyclists have a legal right to the road. The ride is a short, slow and silent funeral-style processional that attracts hundreds of cyclists from all corners of our community.
Helmets are required! Please make sure to look it over a few days prior to the ride to ensure it's in good working order.
Riders will begin gathering at 5:30 pm. There will be a short program at 6:30 pm. The ride will roll at 7:00 p.m. It's a 10 mile route that should take about 1 hour to complete.
There is no cost to participate, but we do ask you to register for safety and planning purposes.
Donations are greatly appreciated! Costs to have this event are approximately $4,500. All donations and proceeds from the sale of t-shirts will be used exclusively for the current and future Ride of Silence events in Columbus.
